After one week flying solo, Brandon rejoins the podcast and starts us off with a quick review on a few breweries he tried while in San Diego with his family. Then, we dive into a topic that kind of gets us both feeling fired up, namely the idea that religion and relationship are in some way opposed to each other. We’ve had conversations with a lot of people who bristle at the idea of needing to belong to a religion and all the things that come with that, instead wanting to emphasize the idea that what we really need is a relationship with God. We spend this episode looking at how the two ideas are actually complementary and not exclusionary.
