This week, AJ and Brandon have a (slightly late) celebration of 100 episodes of podcasting before diving in on the proud Christian tradition of baptizing pagan symbols, using the Easter Bunny as a prime example. Why have Christians, going all the way back to St. Paul, been so willing to use non-Christian symbols?
AJ and Brandon keep walking that Lenten journey! After looking at prayer last week, this week it's time to take a look at fasting. Fasting is more than just giving up candy, it's about getting the obstacles out of the way from us and God.
This week, AJ and Brandon thought they were going to be discussing prayer, but like good conversation often does, they were pulled in a different direction and talked about the importance of community and the difficult question of whether our churches have failed us(or if we've failed them) during this pandemic.
Parent Teacher conferences make for an incredibly long week, but there is a lot of wisdom to be found in them. Some of it is even for the students! Do it with a side of confidence!

Courage isn't actually about being fearless, but being able to recognize your fears and keep them from dominating your life. We, like St. Peter, have to be willing to get out of the boat, even if it only gets us a couple steps further.
