Meaningful Conversations With Delicious Beverages
As human beings, we like our successes to be clear, identifiable, and well defined. The truth is that we have no idea what the rest of the puzzle was supposed to be, so we have no real idea what our part is needed for.
Think back to the original Christmas, the coming of the Messiah. The people went through times of trust, times of doubt, times of joy, and times of sadness. Through it all, those who endured had to do so with tremendous faith and patience, trusting in the goodness of their God.
Let's be real, everyone wants to be happy. The other things we chase, whether they be money, friendship, or anything else, we pursue them because we think they'll lead us to happiness. The truth of the matter, though, is that happiness isn't as complicated as we make it seem. All it really takes is a process, patience and time.
This week is parent teacher conference week. Normally, this week is exhausting, and the only consistent use of "hope" during it is me hoping that I survive the week. This year, everything is different.
