We begin our journey of understanding the 7 Deadly Sins, beginning with Sloth.

Time for another Friday #craftbeerreview! This week, it's Fox Diver Brown Ale from @kitsunebrewingco. This is a really nice, smooth brown. With brown ales, you should generally expect a mild, nutty sweetness. This one delivers perfectly. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone who likes browns, or anyone who wants to see what brown ales are all about.

For those of you who have been following along the podcast, Brandon has not had anything new for a loooooong time. He started it off with the phrase, "I almost tried something new..." It will be nice to hear some different beverages from him in the coming episodes.

It's nice to know my screw ups can't undo God's work.

This week's #craftbeerreview is the last of my dark beers until cool weather returns. It comes from Crooked Tooth Brewing, who caught my interest with their minimalist can design and fantastic naming. This week, it's Metaphysical Therapy, an Imperial stout with a heavy 11% ABV, and a name that a philosophy major can't say no to. As for the beer itself, it's got a sweet, dessert flavor coming right from the first sip. The finish balances it out with a roasty, bitter punch. I really like this beer. Its only slight demerit is that all the other flavors aren't able to mask the boozy flavors of that 11% from start to finish. All in all, if it weren't for the 90+ degree weather, this would be a great finish to any Friday or Saturday night.
