Meaningful Conversations With Delicious Beverages
I came up with this idea for a timely mini-series of posts back in a quaint time when we thought we were getting ready for a Lent similar to the Lents we've experienced in the past. It was a simpler time. Then, we received a penance that we didn't know was coming.
I know today is Valentine's Day, but quite frankly, I have no insights or wisdom in particular to share about Valentine's, romance, or any of the other things related to the day. Instead, I'm going to look forward about a week to next Wednesday, which is Ash Wednesday, and the official beginning of Lent.
Of Feasts and Fasts Christ is risen, Alleluia! We have entered the Easter season after our time in the desert of Lent. After our 40 days of preparation, prayer, penance, fasting, and almsgiving, we have come to a season of feasting, celebration, and joy.
