We will not see the outcome of the good work, but I have to believe that it was still worth doing. That there is something else that I can't see. I believe that doing good should be done without the condition of compensation or reward. Doing good is a good in itself.
This week's episode of Highlights, AJ is joined by his friend, Ryan Ayala. Ryan is the campus minister at St. Mary's Catholic High School in Phoenix, as well as a theology teacher. In addition, Ryan is a husband, father, and Catholic with a ton of insight. It's amazing to me, but my first homeroom class just graduated. Students who I taught as 5th grade students were stuck in my classroom again as 8th graders. I did want to take the time and opportunity to remind us all of just a few things that I seemed to be saying on repeat over the last couple of days.
