Why do so many Christians feel the need to attach their hope to politicians or parties? We need to remind ourselves that our primary identity and loyalty lay with Christ, and we need to try and educate the children in our lives that, while politics certainly matter, placing our hope in any human or human institution is a sure path to disappointment.
