When Christ returns, we will be called into account for what we did with our gifts. We have so many promises in the Bible that Christ will never forsake us and that He will honor us before the Father, so fear is not a viable excuse.
This week, AJ and Brandon talk about one of the things that gets in the way of answering our call, our limiting beliefs. What are the things that hold us back from really going all in to following where God wants us to be?
The time in the desert is killing off doubt. Once everything inside of us that doubts God is dead, then God can lead us. If there is anything left inside that doubts God, then we will turn away. We will run up to the line and then stop.
I realized that once I looked beyond myself, I found a butt ton of fear. I was self-centered, not because I thought I was great, but because I was in control. I can control me. I can't control anything else. As soon as I moved past what I could control, I was afraid.
Our fears and anxieties are natural, but it's unfair to put them on the children around us. How can we, as the adults in their lives, help them to move into the new school year with confidence and hope?
Regardless of whether or not it is positive or negative, Vision is the only way to overcome fear.
There is no easy solution, no trick, or hack to overcome fear. It is a lot of small steps and hard work. You have it inside of you to do it. So, take your first step and arise and go.
