I love teaching. I loved it when I was working with junior high students, and I'm loving it now in high school. They have such a future focused, forward facing mindset that I just can't get enough of.

Future Focused Goal Setting
I want to focus on a specific aspect of goal setting though. A goal is future focused, where a resolution is focused on the immediate. Why is it so important to have a future goal?
To The Graduates
It's amazing to me, but my first homeroom class just graduated. Students who I taught as 5th grade students were stuck in my classroom again as 8th graders. I did want to take the time and opportunity to remind us all of just a few things that I seemed to be saying on repeat over the last couple of days.
