Highlights – Luana’s Coffee Yard

Our first creator is Aaron Schofield, head honcho of Luana's Coffee Yard (Facebook). I reached out to Aaron because of his Instagram. There is so much character and creativity in his little mobile coffee unit. He was very gracious to meet with us.

Episode 10 – InkleDeux Coffee and White Privilege

Our topic is a continuation from last podcast, where we discussed representation. The conversation was heading towards the concept of white privilege, but we cut it off because we were already at an hour. We decided that this is an important enough topic that we should pick up on the next podcast, so here you go.

My New Outlook On Gentrification

I saw that Keys to Shop Podcast was doing an interview with an urban planner, discussing gentrification, I decided to give it a try.  One of the reasons I was willing to give it a listen is that it came from a trusted source.

Episode 4 – Elevate Coffee – McCarrick and Gunn

We touch on the update from El Papa and his statement that capital punishment is no longer an acceptable solution. Then our main topic is discussing two individuals whose past came back to bite them. Former Cardinal McCarrick and former GOTG director James Gunn. Two very different situations that provide an interesting compare and contrast. I got to probe AJ's experience in seminary for an insiders opinion on how the Church and priests deal with these scandals.

The 4 C’s – Craft Beverages

Therefore, a craft beverage is something made by hand. The craftsman selected the raw material, labors over a prodcut that is unique to that individual, and joyfully shared with neibors. I should be able to look the creator in the eye and hear the love of what they do in their voice. To have a craft beverage is to have something uniquely human.
