Today’s episode is an important one. Mental health is slowing making its way on to people’s radar and that’s good. We would like to see this be something that we all take much more seriously. Mental health is important and not always something you can just shake off with a beer or Netflix binge. It requires courage, vulnerability, strong relationships, and sometimes the help of a professional.
We kick off this episode discussing how Santa treated us this year and moved into the plans for the new year. Brandon shares a troubling story about someone he worked with which begins the in depth discussion, mostly from the male perspective, on dealing with the pressures of life.
If you are someone who is dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness, then we hope this podcast encourages you to take the big step of asking for help. We ask this a lot, but please share this post. I’m sure there is someone out there who needs that encouraging word, someone who needs to know that it’s okay to ask for help, someone who feels the pressure of society will eat them up and spit them out if they ask for help. Please share so we can help bring mental health to the forefront of 2019.
