Episode 1 – Introduction

We finally got to it.

We didn’t have a craft beverage to review in this one, but we did get into some of the deep philosophical questions like, “who are you?” and “what is your favorite movie?”

In this episode we give a little background information on how we came up with the company name and the inspiration for the podcast. We also ask some basic “get to know you questions” to help all of you get to know us a little better.

We asked:

  1. What are your biggest influences?
  2. What are your 2 favorite movies?
  3. What is your biggest regret in life?
  4. What is your biggest achievement, or what are you most proud of?

I have to admit that I (Brandon) suffered from some serious mic-anxiety. I was nervous as crap. Proof of this is my answer for biggest influences. Everyone who knows me, knows C.S. Lewis has had the largest impact on my thinking and I totally spaced it. My brain just seized up on me and skipped over it. I’ve never been good at public speaking and even though we are in a “studio” setting, it still feels like public speaking. With practice, I know we will get better.

I want to take a moment to encourage you to please interact with the posts. We really want to hear your thoughts on our topics. What are your favorite movies? Please share in the comments.

I would also like to encourage you to like and even provide reviews on your podcast platform. That helps increase bring more people to the podcast, which makes the community larger and brings more people to interact with. Also, we would really appreciate it if you liked and shared on your favorite social media platform. We offer different interactions on each platform and encourage you to join the conversation.

We are currently live on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, and Spotify. iHeart Radio requires podcasts to be up and running for 2  months before we can submit. We will do so once we are able to.
